Lack of skilled proffesionals
While traditional building methods can be mastered relatively easily, involving professionals is mandatory to meet legal requirements like obtaining building permits.
No strong community
One of the causes of outmigration from rural areas to cities is the degrading community

There is a lack of easily accessible information about traditional building methods and materials for individuals or architects interested in renovating heritage buildings.
Missing legal framework
The traditional practice of Kaláka(community-based cooperative work) lacks formal recognition in modern legal frameworks
Inspiration
I spent a week in My Grandfathers's house (Nagyapám háza) program where I renovated traditional adobe house in rural Hungary with other volunteers. Under this week I learned about the benefits and limits of this method and connected with people and professionals.
Solution
An app designed to connect people with traditional building professionals in rural Hungary, fostering stronger local communities, maintaining an updated database of heritage buildings, and preserving valuable traditional knowledge.
